The CBL season is in the books and its time to look back on a season of firsts for the FastBreak program. This Fall saw a record teams earn medals during the CBL playoffs. Below there are a few highlights from our Fall season and a look ahead to what is a very promising Spring! Additionally, youll find a link to pictures from Championship Sunday at the CBL. All programs have now started, with limited positions still available in teams

Incredibly, both U Division teams completed undefeated regular seasons on their way to the CBL playoffs despite having players with previous CBL experience on their rosters.

The U Division boys were a seasoned bunch by these standards and withstood an injury to a key player on the way to a bronze medal.

These girls earned more accolades than any other FastBreak team this Fall. After losing their first game at the Asia Pacific Cup in October these girls rallied to win straight before losing in the final of the invitational tournament featuring teams from several countries.

Building on that success the girls made a run to the CBL Championship game where they lost a close game to a very strong team they had previously beaten during the regular season.

The U Division boys featured the youngest roster of any FastBreak team and lost a few close games as they gained experience. By the end of the season these newcomers began to share the ball like veterans and Coach Mesecke expressed high praise for these boys and their bright futures in the sport.

This Fall FastBreak entered a record teams into the U competition. These rosters featured over kids who had never played competitive basketball before August.
